Laura Elizabeth Harvey

 

Laura started her Dance training at Eloquent Dance Academy in Hinckley in which she completed numerous exams, shows and competitions.

 

In 2005 Laura attended Brooksby Melton College in which she received a triple Distinction in her BTEC ND in Dance.  To further her professional dance training in 2007 Laura then received a place at Bodyworks Performing Arts College in Cambridge.  Laura then completed a year’s training at Bodyworks Dance Company and then went on to qualify as a Dance teacher with the I.S.T.D and I.D.T.A.  this was alongside working for numerous companies in public and private schools as a Dance Instructor and Teacher of Dance.

 

Laura has performed professionally as a dancer for Area 51 entertainments and as a backing dancer for a Kylie tribute act at venues throughout the U.K. As well as working for the Vegas Show Girls as a dancer, hostess and promotional model. She also regularly works as a support artist for T.V programmes on BBC including Doctors, Hustle, and has filmed for adverts (Morrisons Retail Store Ltd) and the British film Jane Eyre, 2011. Laura is still working in the industry today and is happy to now be a part of the teaching staff at Pointe2Pointe Academy of Dance.
